C’est en 2010 à New York que le saxophoniste Alex Terrier, membre du Mingus Big Band, et la chanteuse et violoncelliste Anne Sila se rencontrent.
Révélée en 2015 dans The Voice, où sa voix cristalline et son style jazz ont fait sensation, Anne a rapidement conquis le public avec sa douceur et son énergie. Collaborant avec le producteur Ray Angry, Anne allie des influences pop, jazz et soul dans ses compositions.
Après ses études au Berklee College of Music à Boston, le saxophoniste nommé aux Grammy Awards Alex Terrier, se fait un nom dans la scène new-yorkaise, collaborant avec des artistes de renom tels que Kenny Barron, Frank Wess et Tigran Hamasyan... Innovateur et passionné, Alex Terrier est une figure clé du jazz contemporain, alliant tradition et avant-garde.
Les deux acolytes ont su s’entourer d’orfèvres du son, Fred Nardin au piano, qui reçoit le prix Django Reinhardt du meilleur musicien de l’année 2016 de l’Académie du son, mais également aujourd’hui arrangeur pour des pointures. L’illustre François Moutin, un habitué à la scène New-Yorkaise et qui collabore avec la fine fleur de ses artistes. « Exceptionnellement doué » selon Télérama, Raphaël Pannier, élu meilleur batteur 2021 par Jazz Magazine grâce à son jeu de batterie puissant et son sens inné du rythme font de lui l’un des batteurs les plus excitants de sa génération.
