Pour célébrer son 5ᵉ anniversaire, le festival est fier d'accueillir le réalisateur britannique Christopher Smith et mettra en avant sa filmographie éclectique ainsi que des films qui ont marqué sa carrière. Mais ce n'est pas tout ! Constatant qu'une grande partie du cinéma de genre contemporain n'est jamais projetée dans les salles de cinéma ou lors de festivals en Wallonie ou à Bruxelles, nous avons décidé d'élargir notre sélection pour inclure des nouveautés ! Avec des projections spéciales, une journée thématique belge, des compétitions de courts métrages, des avant-premières exclusives, une exposition, une bourse et des conférences, cette édition promet une programmation soigneusement sélectionnée, rien que pour vous ! [EN] The fifth edition of the 7th Aaaargh Retro Film Festival will take place from Tuesday, October 29 to Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Quai 22 in Namur. To celebrate its 5th anniversary, the festival is proud to welcome British director Christopher Smith and will highlight his eclectic filmography, along with films that have marked his career. But that's not all! Noticing that a large portion of contemporary genre cinema never gets screened in theaters or at festivals in Wallonia or Brussels, we have decided to expand our selection to include new releases! With special screenings, a Belgian-themed day, a short film competitions, and exclusive premieres, exhibition, second hand fair market and conferences this edition promises a finely curated program just for you!
