In 2023, the Foudation will be discussing about ten years of research at the heart of vulnerability in France and worldwide. On that occasion, we organize an international conference in Paris, on the 26th of October, in partnership with IRD and Sciences Po's School of International Affairs. 

This conference will be the culmination of a serie of events and publications to be held throughout 2023, with the aim of taking stock of ten years of research and looking to the future.

 

The concept of humanitarian transition will be examined in the light of contemporary crisis during five thematic round-table discussions :

 

1 . Humanitarian transition "Humanitarian transition ten years after : the challenges of an object of study between local and international levels"

2 . Migrations "Exiles and hospitality : the migratory experience in question"

3 . Health and epidemics "Epidemics and health beyond medicine : what can be done to overcome the obstacles to Health Care Utilization"

4 . Risks and disasters "Climate risks and disasters : thinking about and coping with disasters"

5 . Research challenges "Researching on and with humanitarian practitioners : what are the ethical, financial and methodological issues?"
