••• 1st stage: Village Auvers-sur-Oise

 

Village where Van Gogh painted 70 of his works at the end of his life.

 

Possibility to stroll through this bucolic village that has kept its many 19th century buildings.

 

From the old street, to the agricultural plateau to the banks of the Oise, discover outdoor art on the favourite land of Daubigny, Cézanne, Pissarro and Van Gogh, for the most famous.

 

Come and discover the landscapes that have inspired so many Impressionist artists!

••• 2nd stage: Giverny Village

Village where Claude Monet's House is located, its beautiful gardens and its famous Japanese bridge.

 

••• On the way back to Paris, we will take the route des crètes with a view of the cliffs of the loop of the Seine via La Roche Guyon (elected "Most beautiful village in Ile de France" with its castle and magnificent view) and Vétheuil (the village where Claude Monet painted about 150 of his works).

 

PLANNING 

 

8:00 am: Appointment at 21 Pershing Boulevard (Porte Maillot)

8:30 am: Departure of the bus -> Auvers-sur-Oise

9:30 am: Discovery of Auvers-sur-Oise & free time for lunch.

Possibility to visit in a free neighbourhood the Auberge Ravoux, Tomb of Van Gogh, Château d'Auvers-sur-Oise,...

 

12:40 p.m.: Departure of the bus -> Giverny

14:15: Visit of the Claude Monet Foundation with the gardens and the painter's house (€10 per person to be paid on the day of the excursion, on the bus)

4:15 p.m.: Free time in Giverny (walks, Museum of Impressionisms, Tomb of Monet, etc.)

5:45 p.m.: Departure of the bus > Paris, passing through the ridge road with a view of the cliffs of the Seine loop (arrival in Paris around 7:45 p.m.)

(Possibility of being in a free neighbourhood, as long as the announced schedules are respected.)
