On Saturday, May 3rd, we invite you to a day trip to discover the beach and village of Veules les Roses 🌊☀⛱ as well as its cliffs, typical of Haute Normandie!

Very popular in the nineteenth century among the artists, Veules-les-Roses has kept a typical style with its half-timbered houses and daintily flowered thatched roofs.

This authentic village was in the Middle Ages a thriving fishing port and from 1826 a popular holiday resort for artists like Meurice, Victor Hugo. And since then, the village has preserved its thatched roofs, small paths and alleys, rich villas, large gardens ... and its current name of Veules-the-Roses.

In the village, we will follow the circuit of the smallest river in France, along which we will discover charming water-mills, a church classified as historical monument, fisher-mens houses, watercress as well as ruins from another time!

Possibility to make linguistic exchanges (generally the participants are French and international) in addition to the discovery of the amazing landscapes!

Possibility to play games in groups on the beach (you can bring a frisbee, soccer ball etc to contribute to this fun trip)
