WHAT IS IT ? Welcome at
Talk CEC (Creator of Cultural Experiences)
An innovative multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary place that spreads its activities by combining art with ecological awareness and entertainment, all on 3 levels for a total area of 3,500 square meters, in the heart of the European capital.
WHERE IS IT ? Located in the heart of Brussels and a few steps away from the European Parliament in the historic Demeuldre Establishment, a former porcelain factory dating from 1830. Talk CEC brings life to a new cycle, with the modernization of its infrastructure and equipment as well as the restoration and valorization of its historical, architectural, and artistic heritage.
WHY ? The first objective of our project is to build a community around ocean-related issues, and nature-friendly business potential as BLUE ECONOMY & SUSTAINABLE FISHING (research centers, NGOs, schools, youth organizations, media, and marine-related industries).
Which leads to the second objective: encourage the circulation and access of scientific knowledge to a large audience, and to all generations, by organizing a wide range of events (conferences, seminars, workshops, urban and contemporary art exhibitions, school visits, and podcasts).
The final objective is to offer a new experience for learning and sharing about ocean-related environmental issues, through an art-science dialogue.
