FestiVita! Brussels Early Music Festival is :
— 3 days of concerts for everyone, accessible and oriented towards discovery as much as towards the great masterpieces. Local and international artists, both established and up-and-coming. In addition to this musical programme, there will be a masked ball that will take you right into the heart of Venice, the city to which the 2025 edition of the Festival is dedicated! All under the mentorship of the charismatic French violinist Amandine Beyer.
— The concerts will be rich and varied, both visually and acoustically. What's more, special attention will be paid to our young audiences, with a show for all the family on Sunday morning, as well as a series of events in schools aimed at the capital's less privileged audiences. In addition, schools will be invited to preview a concert given by the performers themselves on Wednesday afternoon.
— A unique experience, the banquet-qu'on-sert: a historic Venetian meal accompanied by texts and music. Menu: Antipasti: Spritz (original recipe), baccala with olive oil and lemmon, polenta toast with mushrooms, grilled radicchio with melted asiago cheese. Primo: Venetian-style pasta soup with white beans. Secundi: roast guinea fowl with apple and chestnuts or cod with celeriac and Grana Padano or steamed fennel with milk and Grana Padano. Each dish is served with rosemary potatoes. Dolci: Treviso tiramisù and Napolitan-style coffee. Water and wine included: Pinot Grigio D.O.C. Venezie, Paladin, 2023 (white), Valpolicella D.O.C. Valpantena, Cantine Bertani, 2022 (red).
— A friendly, relaxed atmosphere, an exhibition of instrument-making, a warm welcome from a team of volunteers attentive to your needs, snacks available at all hours, the chance to meet the artists, etc.
In short, FestiVita! is everything you need to feel immersed in a world of encounters and guaranteed excitement, in the heart of a superb building: the Cercle Royal Gaulois, a jewel in the crown of our Brussels heritage!
