Aux débuts des années 2000, sur les conseils de Biréli Lagrène, Jim et Jon Grandcamp rencontrent Hadrien Féraud à Paris. C'est sur la scène du Baiser Salé que les musiciens commencent à jouer ensemble, notamment aux côtés de François Constantin à la jam du lundi soir et que se forme tout naturellement le trio. Virtuose de la basse, Hadrien Féraud a collaboré avec John McLaughlin, Chick Corea, Billy Cobham, Gino Vannelli, Jean-Luc Ponty, Biréli Lagrène, André Ceccarelli, Sylvain Luc pour ne citer qu'eux… Naviguant entre Los Angeles et Paris, Hadrien déborde de projets, d'envies, d'initiatives et à Paris, c'est toujours sur la scène du Baiser Salé qu'il s'arrête pour expérimenter et créer. Jim Grandcamp nourrit un amour pour la musique improvisée et la musique à l'image. Véloce et subtil, Jim est un musicien qui touche au cœur. Ses envolées viennent sublimer la rythmique basse/batterie et transportent à chaque fois le public. Jon Grandcamp témoigne d'une subjectivité instinctive et flamboyante. Il développe un jeu coloré, très influencé par les musiques et les rythmes africains. Son langage batteristique est dictée par la percussion, influencée par ses nombreux concerts aux cotés de Sandra N'Kaké, Emma Lamadji, Cheick Tidiane Seck, Fatoumata Diawara, Blick Bassy Oumou Sangaré... le jeu des "papas" comme il les appelle Mokthar Samba, Paco Sery... Groove, funk & fusion caractérisent à merveille la pâte de Michael Lecoq. Que ce soit au côté d’Hadrien Feraud, Dam&co, Jean-Marie Ecay ou Jean-Luc Ponty, il est le claviériste de la magie pure et des solos épatants !

In the early 2000s, on the advice of Biréli Lagrène, Jim and Jon Grandcamp met Hadrien Féraud in Paris. It was on the stage of the Baiser Salé that the musicians began to play together, notably alongside François Constantin at the Monday night jam and that the trio naturally formed. A bass virtuoso, Hadrien Féraud has collaborated with John McLaughlin, Chick Corea, Billy Cobham, Gino Vannelli, Jean-Luc Ponty, Biréli Lagrène, André Ceccarelli, Sylvain Luc to name a few… Sailing between Los Angeles and Paris, Hadrien is overflowing with projects, desires, initiatives and in Paris, it is always on the stage of the Baiser Salé that he stops to experiment and create. Jim Grandcamp nourishes a love for improvised music and music for images. Swift and subtle, Jim is a musician who touches the heart. His flights of fancy enhance the bass/drums rhythm and transport the audience every time. Jon Grandcamp demonstrates an instinctive and flamboyant subjectivity. He develops a colorful style, very influenced by African music and rhythms. His drumming language is dictated by percussion, influenced by his many concerts alongside Sandra N'Kaké, Emma Lamadji, Cheick Tidiane Seck, Fatoumata Diawara, Blick Bassy Oumou Sangaré... the playing of the "dads" as he calls them Mokthar Samba, Paco Sery... Groove, funk & fusion perfectly characterize Michael Lecoq's style. Whether alongside Hadrien Feraud, Dam&co, Jean-Marie Ecay or Jean-Luc Ponty, he is the keyboardist of pure magic and amazing solos!
