Le Julia Perminova Trio, mené par la brillante pianiste et compositrice Julia Perminova, originaire de Sibérie et désormais parisienne, est un mélange explosif de jazz moderne, de fusion et de classique romantique.
L'histoire du trio commence à Amsterdam, il y a cinq ans, quand Julia rencontre le batteur portugais Luís Possollo et le bassiste allemand Josef Zeimetz. Depuis, leur alchimie fait des étincelles sur les scènes d'Europe et d'Amérique du Sud. En 2023, ils sortent leur nouvel album Freedom, une ode à la lutte humaine pour la liberté, avec quelques invités qui apportent leur grain de sel à ce cocktail musical unique.

Julia s'est imposée sur la scène internationale en remportant plusieurs concours internationaux de jazz en Espagne, au Portugal et en Roumanie, et a partagé la scène avec des pointures comme le NDR Big Band, Lionel Loueke, Ronie Cuber, Miguel Zenon, et bien d'autres. Le trio se distingue par un groove captivant et le jeu envoûtant de Julia au piano, faisant d'eux un incontournable du jazz contemporain.

The Julia Perminova Trio, led by the brilliant pianist and composer Julia Perminova, originally from Siberia and now based in Paris, is an explosive blend of modern jazz, fusion, and romantic classical music. The trio's story began in Amsterdam five years ago when Julia met Portuguese drummer Luís Possollo and German bassist Josef Zeimetz. Since then, their chemistry has ignited stages across Europe and South America.
