Italien d'origine et parisien d’adoption, Karim Blal est un pianiste à la fois inventif et virtuose. Inspiré par les plus grands noms du jazz, il a rapidement développé son propre style, tout en restant profondément attaché à la tradition des grands pianistes, ce qui se ressent dans sa musique.
Déjà reconnu par ses pairs, Karim a eu la chance d’étudier auprès de maîtres comme Barry Harris et Kenny Barron. Il a joué sur des scènes prestigieuses à travers le monde, notamment au Blue Note Milano en Italie, au Victoria Nasjonal Jazzscene en Norvège, au Fasching Jazz Club en Suède, au Chorus Jazz Club en Suisse, ou encore à la Philharmonie de Minsk en Biélorussie.
Sa musique, pleine de vie et en constante évolution, mélange habilement standards du jazz et compositions originales. Accompagné de son trio, Karim explore à la fois la tradition et les sons modernes. Son nouvel album, attendu pour 2023, promet de révéler encore plus de son univers créatif.

Originally from Italy and now a Parisian by choice, Karim Blal is a pianist who is both inventive and virtuosic. Inspired by the greatest names in jazz, he quickly developed his own style while remaining deeply connected to the tradition of the great pianists, a connection that is clearly felt in his music.
Already recognized by his peers, Karim has had the privilege of studying under masters such as Barry Harris and Kenny Barron. He has performed on prestigious stages around the world, including the Blue Note Milano in Italy, the Victoria Nasjonal Jazzscene in Norway, the Fasching Jazz Club in Sweden, the Chorus Jazz Club in Switzerland, and the Minsk Philharmonic in Belarus.
His music, full of life and constantly evolving, skillfully blends jazz standards with original compositions. Accompanied by his trio, Karim explores both tradition and modern sounds. His new album, expected in 2023, promises to reveal even more of his creative universe.
