The Old Garden Hike
In April we’re off to the left bank. For this hike in the 6th and 5th arrondissements, I have prepared an itinerary south of the boulevard Saint-Germain
Exploring the confidential areas of the left bank
Away from the busiest streets and roads and from the places most popular with the crowds of tourists, I will take you to more residential and secret (for those who do not live there) streets of the left bank, while looking for a sundial --and see if can say what time it is in rue du Cherche-Midi--and climbing up the Sainte-Geneviève mountain (behold ! 61 meters high).
The Old Gardens, a must do in Spring
Of course we will also walk through the two oldest and very beautiful gardens of the left bank, the Luxembourg gardens and the Jardin des Plantes (the botanical gardens of Paris). If there we will find that we are not alone, there is enough room from everyone! And Spring is the perfect moment to enjoy the gardens where nature is to be found blooming!
