Etibar Asadli est l’un des jazzmen, pianistes-compositeurs les plus talentueux d’Azerbaïdjan, lauréat de bon nombre de concours internationaux avec son jazz-mugham mêlant à la fois sons acoustiques et électroniques.

Etibar commence l’apprentissage du piano en 1998 à l’école de musique Bulbul de Bakou, Azerbaïdjan. Comme il porte un intérêt tout particulier pour la composition, il intègre la faculté des compositeurs de l’Académie de musique de Bakou en 2009. Alors qu’il est encore étudiant, Etibar compose de nombreuses pièces symphoniques. Dès lors, il prend part à divers projets, concerts, jazz festivals et compétitions en Azerbaïdjan comme à l’international. Montreux Jazz Festival (Suisse), Festival JazzyColors (France), Baku Jazz Festival (Azerbaïdjan), Alanya Jazz Festival (Turquie), Ethno-Jazz 360° (Ukraine), Buta Art Festival à Londres (Royaume-Uni), A to Z International Jazz Festival– (Sofia, Boulgari) ou encore Festival Les 2 Mondes à Mulhouse (France), que ce soit en solo, en trio ou encore en quatuor, Etibar arpente les scènes aux quatre coins du monde…

En 2015, à 23 ans, il s’installe à Paris où il poursuit sa carrière et il sort son album « Mugham », compilation de ses projets musicaux où les compositions azerbaïdjanaises traditionnelles sont revisitées.

Etibar Asadli is one of the most talented jazzmen, pianist-composers of Azerbaijan, winner of many international competitions with his jazz-mugham mixing both acoustic and electronic sounds.
Etibar began learning the piano in 1998 at the Bulbul Music School in Baku, Azerbaijan. As he has a particular interest in composition, he joined the faculty of composers at the Baku Academy of Music in 2009. While still a student, Etibar composed numerous symphonic pieces. From then on, he took part in various projects, concerts, jazz festivals and competitions in Azerbaijan and internationally. Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), JazzyColors Festival (France), Baku Jazz Festival (Azerbaijan), Alanya Jazz Festival (Turkey), Ethno-Jazz 360° (Ukraine), Buta Art Festival in London (United Kingdom), A to Z International Jazz Festival – (Sofia, Boulgari) or Festival Les 2 Mondes in Mulhouse (France), whether solo, trio or quartet, Etibar walks the stages all over the world…
In 2015, at the age of 23, he moved to Paris where he continued his career and released his album “Mugham”, a compilation of his musical projects where traditional Azerbaijani compositions are revisited.
