Puisant dans ses racines caribéennes et dans son amour du Jazz, de la soul, en passant par le funk et les rythmes afro-caribéens, Fabienne Reine façonne une musique métissée, vibrante et sincère, qui résonne comme une évidence au milieu du festival des Caribéennes de Mai. Par ce voyage mélodieux, la chanteuse nous emporte en avec la douceur du jazz, la syncopée du funk, l’effervescence du gospel, la tendresse de la biguine ou encore le cadencé du zouk.
Suite à la toute fraiche sortie de son album “Éko”, elle nous en livre une version intime et acoustique, révélant l’essence même de ses compositions. Un moment suspendu où chaque note résonne comme un fragment d’histoire, chaque mélodie comme un écho de son identité plurielle.
Fabienne Reine est une artiste d’origine guadeloupéenne aux multiples facettes : danseuse, chorégraphe, chanteuse, auteure, compositrice. Elle a mené ses projets sans délaisser l’une de ses passions pour une autre. Elle s’illustre ainsi pendant plusieurs années dans des compagnies de danse contemporaines et comédies musicales (La Rue Zabym, Le Roi Lion…). Chanteuse de scène et de studios, elle accompagne de nombreux artistes caribéens (Jean-Claude Naimro, Patrick St Eloi, Jocelyne Béroard, Tanya St Val, Jeff Joseph, Dominique Coco…) et de la scène africaine (Josey, Papa Wamba, Almok, Sissy Mananga, Mj30…).
De passage à Paris en 2005 avec la troupe du spectacle musical “La Rue Zabym”, elle décide d’y poursuivre son parcours avec encore plus de ferveur et se nourrir de nouvelles rencontres artistiques. Elle monte « Sa ki andidan’S » en 2009, une pièce chorégraphique pour le Festival Paris Outre-Mer. Création dans laquelle se mêlent jazz, contemporain et Gwo-ka, tant dans la gestuelle que dans la musique.
On la retrouve également chanteuse lead dans différentes formations : le quintet biguine-jazz «Tikafé», l’orchestre Funk-créole «Zandoly» et le trio vocal «Kerédam». Riche de toutes ses expériences Fabienne Reine propose fin 2018 un premier single, Dako, produit avec la complicité du bassiste Eric Delblond.

Through this melodious journey, the singer takes us on a journey through the sweetness of jazz, the syncopation of funk, the effervescence of gospel, the tenderness of biguine, and the rhythm of zouk.

Fabienne Reine is a multifaceted artist of Guadeloupean origin: dancer, choreographer, singer, author, and composer. She pursued her projects without abandoning one of her passions for another. She distinguished herself for several years in contemporary dance companies and musicals (La Rue Zabym, The Lion King, etc.). A stage and studio singer, she accompanied numerous Caribbean artists (Jean-Claude Naimro, Patrick St. Eloi, Jocelyne Béroard, Tanya St. Val, Jeff Joseph, Dominique Coco, etc.) and African artists (Josey, Papa Wamba, Almok, Sissy Mananga, Mj30, etc.).
While visiting Paris in 2005 with the troupe of the musical "La Rue Zabym," she decided to pursue her career there with even greater fervor and enrich herself with new artistic encounters. In 2009, she created "Sa ki andidan'S," a choreographic piece for the Paris Outre-Mer Festival. A creation that blends jazz, contemporary, and Gwo-ka, both in gesture and music. She can also be found as a lead singer in various groups: the biguine-jazz quintet "Tikafé", the Funk-creole orchestra "Zandoly" and the vocal trio "Kérédam". Rich in all her experiences, Fabienne Reine released her first single, Dako, at the end of 2018, produced with the help of bassist Eric Delblond.
