C’est bien souvent au cours de nos jam sessions du lundi et du dimanche que bien des jeunes instrumentistes trouvent l’occasion de se faire remarquer par les “pointures” et autres vieux loups qui rôdent toujours à l’affût de nouvelles sensations musicales, et c’est souvent autour d’un verre que naissent des projets de groupes après des bœufs mémorables.

Jeune pianiste israélienne arrivée en France à l’âge de 7 ans, rafraîchissante, spontanée et solaire, qui met le plus souvent, en douceur, l’accent sur les mélodies Nina a été en résidence #JazzDeDemain au Club à sa fin d’études au CMDL et nous a tous conquis par la fluidité de son jeu, la conviction de son propos, et une esthétique solaire.

Les chansons des Beatles appartiennent à l’histoire, tout le monde peut les réinterpréter à sa façon : Brad Mehldau les tire vers le jazz, Keren Ann y pose sa voix singulière, Rover s’empare de l’album Revolver, Avant d’imprimer à tout jamais leur marque sur le rock, les Beatles démarraient leur aventure dans le vent de leur ville de Liverpool, qui leur amènerait les effluves du rock’n’roll né de l’autre côté de l’Atlantique. Portée par leur fougue adolescente, leur appropriation du genre dans le respect des pionniers paverait vite la route à une salutaire émancipation.
