Connu pour son jeu de batterie virtuose et créatif, Matis vous entraînera dans un voyage musical spécial de la « Reine du Funk » Shaka Khan, chanteuse américaine emblématique qui a débuté dans les années 1970 avec le groupe Rufus avant de mener une carrière solo à succès. Connue pour des hits tels que "I'm Every Woman" et "Ain't Nobody", Shaka Khan a remporté dix Grammy Awards. Sa voix puissante et son style unique, mélangeant funk, soul, jazz et R&B, continuent d'influencer la musique contemporaine.
Originaire de région parisienne, Matis grandit dans le sud de la France entouré d’une famille d’artistes avec un père compositeur et une mère auteure. Il fait ses premières armes au conservatoire de Perpignan. DEM en poche en 2021, il décide de s’installer sur Paris, commence à fréquenter les clubs de la ville et s’investît dans divers projets. Il intègre la même année en septembre le Pôle Supérieur de Paris Boulogne-Billancourt (PSPBB). Ses influences passent par Robert Glasper, Kendrick Lamar, Nick Hakim, SiR… et s’inspirent de batteurs renommés comme CJ Thompson, Justin Tyson, Taron Lockett, Rico Nichols…Ça promet des jam colorées, modernes et dynamiques

Known for his virtuosic and creative drumming, Matis will take you on a special musical journey inspired by the "Queen of Funk," Shaka Khan, the iconic American singer who started in the 1970s with the group Rufus before embarking on a successful solo career. Hailing from the Paris region, Matis grew up in the south of France surrounded by an artistic family, with a composer father and an author mother. He began his musical training at the Perpignan Conservatory. After earning his DEM in 2021, he decided to move to Paris, started frequenting the city’s clubs, and became involved in various projects. In September of the same year, he joined the Pôle Supérieur de Paris Boulogne-Billancourt (PSPBB). His influences include Robert Glasper, Kendrick Lamar, Nick Hakim, SiR, and he draws inspiration from renowned drummers such as CJ Thompson, Justin Tyson, Taron Lockett, and Rico Nichols.
