Pianiste, compositeur, producteur et originaire de Houston, au Texas, Robert Glasper est un pianiste de jazz avec un forge pour des compositions subtiles et harmoniquement complexes qui révèlent également une influence du hip-hop. Depuis « Black Radio », l’album qui l’a révélé au grand public, le pianiste a sans aucun doute bouleversé le paysage musical, aussi bien celui du jazz que du hip-hop. Détenteur de 5 Grammy Awards, il a joué aux côtés de musiciens comme Mos Def, Bilal, Kanye West, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, et surtout Kendrick Lamar sur son album culte To Pimp a Butterfly. Son parcours en constante évolution est guidé par une recherche sonore et une expansion de son champ créatif.

Originaire de région parisienne, Matis grandit dans le sud de la France entouré d’une famille d’artistes avec un père compositeur et une mère auteure. Il fait ses premières armes au conservatoire de Perpignan. DEM en poche en 2021, il décide de s’installer sur Paris, commence à fréquenter les clubs de la ville et s’investît dans divers projets. Il intègre la même année en septembre le Pôle Supérieur de Paris Boulogne-Billancourt (PSPBB) dans lequel il poursuit actuellement ses études musicales notamment auprès de Martin Wangermée.

Originally from the Paris region, Matis grew up in the south of France in an artistic family, with a composer father and author mother. He took his first steps at the Perpignan conservatory. With his DEM in hand in 2021, he decided to move to Paris, where he began frequenting the city's clubs and getting involved in various projects. In September of the same year, he joined the Pôle Supérieur de Paris Boulogne-Billancourt (PSPBB), where he is currently pursuing his musical studies, notably with Martin Wangermée.
