Un quartet de jazz créé spécialement pour cette première date de résidence avec une Julia Richard chanteuse qui met en avant des compositions originales fusionnant l’essence du jazz traditionnel avec une touche contemporaine, et vous invite à plonger dans son univers musical et vivre une soirée de jazz authentique et moderne au cœur de Paris.
Franco-mexicaine, Julia Richard enchante le milieu du jazz, à l’instar de ses inspirations, les légendes Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand ou encore Ella Fitzgerald. Chanteuse, contrebassiste, compositrice, Julia Richard incarne un concentré de puissance vocale et d’inspiration musicale. À cela s’ajoute un fort effet visuel : le contraste de taille entre elle et sa contrebasse, qui l’accompagne, ne passe pas inaperçu. Julia Richard écrit, compose et interprète des chansons qui créent un pont harmonieux entre les notes du jazz et les mélodies de la pop. Aux côtés de nombreux instrumentistes, elle explore des répertoires variés, de Sting, Stevie Wonder ou Supertramp à Paul Chambers, Thelonious Monk ou sa consœur contrebassiste Esperanza Spalding !

Décidé à soutenir des artistes en devenir, notre Club propose une série de résidences bimestrielles (1 concert tous les deux mois) qui leur permet de proposer un projet créatif et de le développer dans un environnement propice à la création. Un accès aux équipements de notre salle, tels que les enregistrements vidéo, audio, le travail des lumières et du son et la mise à disposition de la salle avec un ingénieur son 1 fois par mois en journée.

Julia invites you to immerse yourself in her musical world and experience an evening of authentic and modern jazz in the heart of Paris.

Franco-Mexican Julia Richard has captivated the jazz scene, drawing inspiration from legends like Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand, and Ella Fitzgerald. As a singer, double bassist, and composer, Julia Richard embodies a powerful combination of vocal strength and musical inspiration. Adding to her dynamic stage presence is the striking visual contrast between her and the double bass that accompanies her—a sight that never goes unnoticed. Julia writes, composes, and performs songs that create a harmonious bridge between jazz notes and pop melodies. Alongside numerous instrumentalists, she explores a diverse repertoire, ranging from Sting, Stevie Wonder, and Supertramp to Paul Chambers, Thelonious Monk, and her fellow double bassist Esperanza Spalding!

Committed to supporting emerging artists, our Club offers a series of bi-monthly residencies (one concert every two months) that allow them to present and develop a creative project in an environment conducive to artistic growth. This includes access to our venue's equipment, such as video and audio recording, lighting and sound work, and the use of the space with a sound engineer once a month during the day.
