Crée après une tournée au Sénégal avec le chanteur Carlou D, ce projet qui sera présenté en avant-première sur la scène du Baiser Salé est la réunion de quatre personnalités incontournables de la scène du jazz et de la world music, mais aussi la fusion de quatre amitiés. Pas de leader dans ce groupe, ils sont tous compositeurs, leaders et interprètes.. Ce « all stars » d’exception se compose de Sylvain Beuf au sax, devenu l’un des plus incontournables saxophonistes ténor français (Victoire de la Musique, Djangos d’Or, prix Django Reinhardt, Talent Midem, etc…). Vingt ans de carrière écumés avec le who’s who du jazz français (Martial Solal, René Urtreger, Hervé Sellin, Daniel Humair, Henri Texier, Richard Galliano, Michel Perez…). Compositeur prolixe, soliste inspiré, il a, en tant que leader, enregistré une dizaine d’albums qui sont régulièrement remarqués par la critique (Le Monde, Télérama, La scène, Jazz News, le Nouvel Observateur). Aux claviers Fabrice Devienne, qui s’est fait remarquer pour son magnifique projet « DIPENDA » en hommage à Aimé Césaire et a joué avec Jacques Mahieux, Philippe Sellam et a formé un trio avec Stéphane Huchard et Christophe Wallemme.. Thierry Fanfant, bassiste et sideman génial et réputé, il enchaîne les collaborations et participations avec de nombreux artistes ou groupes de tous styles (d’Angélique Kidjo à Carlos Santana, de Mayra Andrade à Bernard Lavilliers) et a participé à plus de 1 000 albums. Pour finir la liste des habitués foulant régulièrement la scène du Baiser Salé, Roger Biwandu à la batterie, dont la biographie ne tiens pas dans une page, ni dans 100. Il se fait un nom solide avec le génial groupe Chic Hot avec Mario Canonge au piano et il est par la suite sollicité pour jouer occasionnellement avec les deux groupes phares de la scène jazz/fusion Française, Sixun et Ultramarine. Il a également eu l'opportunité d'enregistrer avec Carole King, Kéziah Jones, Jeff Beck ou encore Joe Zawinul et Bobby McFerrin. Celui qu'on surnomme KEMP a une carrière remplie et bien loin d'être finie.

Created after a tour of Senegal with singer Carlou D, this project, which will be previewed on the Baiser Salé stage, is the coming together of four key figures on the jazz and world music scene, as well as the fusion of four friendships. There is no leader in this group: they are all composers, leaders and performers... This exceptional all-star line-up includes Sylvain Beuf on sax, who has become one of France's leading tenor saxophonists (Victoire de la Musique, Djangos d'Or, Django Reinhardt Award, Talent Midem, etc.). Twenty-year career spent with the who's who of French jazz (Martial Solal, René Urtreger, Hervé Sellin, Daniel Humair, Henri Texier, Richard Galliano, Michel Perez...). A prolific composer and inspired soloist, he has recorded a dozen albums as a leader, regularly winning critical acclaim (Le Monde, Télérama, La scène, Jazz News, Nouvel Observateur). On keyboards Fabrice Devienne, who made a name for himself with his magnificent “DIPENDA” project in tribute to Aimé Césaire, and has played with Jacques Mahieux, Philippe Sellam and formed a trio with Stéphane Huchard and Christophe Wallemme.
