Without falling into either frenzied nonsense or boring predictability?   THE CLOWN-HERO'S JOURNEY is the ideal opportunity to find your answers to these crucial questions.   ———   Each day starts with foundational training in physical acting and creativity. We then move on to the essential improvisation and clowning exercises before we tie it all together in a simple narrative format with ample room for free play.   ———   Although speech is not banned, the verbal side of improvisation remains secondary. The clown improvisation techniques we'll explore are essentially non-verbal.   Afterwards, you can apply them in any show you want.   Whether you're an actor, clown or improviser, you'll get your money's worth. THE TEACHER

Caspar Schjelbred (Denmark) has dedicated himself to the physical side of theatre and improvisation, notably clowning and mime.

He started his career in Paris in the early 2000s with The Improfessionals, the company that first introduced the Anglo-American traditions of improvised theatre in France.

In 2010, Caspar created his brand of improvisation, IMPRO SUPREME, based on the teachings of his mentor, the director and clown master Ira Seidenstein.

In 2016 he took his solo show 'Plan C' on a tour Down Under and in 2018 he created a physical comedy show in Bulgaria with his friends from HaHaHa Impro Theatre.

His new show 'The Supreme Art of Improvisation' premiered at the Paris Impro en Seine Festival in June 2024.
