The Baltimore Waltz, by Paula Vogel
The ATC is proud to present The Baltimore Waltz, directed by Robynn Colwell, running from 16 to 25 March 2023 at the Warehouse Studio Theatre.
In the wake of a distressing medical diagnosis, a brother and sister set off on a whirlwind tour of Europe. Seeking adventure and an experimental if dubious cure, Carl and Anna embark on a now-or-never trip into the throes of romance and mystery - and toward each other - for the kind of comfort and love only a sibling can offer.
The Baltimore Waltz will sweep you into a dizzying dance through France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria. But it is also a darkly comic excursion through a disturbing part of the American political and cultural landscape in the late 1980s. At its heart, it is the playwright's rendition of her own voyage through that landscape, across a terrain shadowed by grief and loss.
Raucously funny, delightfully satirical, and at times just plain raunchy, The Baltimore Waltz is, above all, Paula Vogel's farewell gift to a brother who would have laughed himself silly and felt how deeply he was loved.
Tickets for The Baltimore Waltz can be purchased here in a few simple steps.
We kindly encourage you to top up your booking with a donation for the Play Your Part fundraiser. After thirty years of active service, the Warehouse needs a new roof and an energy-efficient lighting grid. The pandemic was not kind to our finances, so we are counting on the support of our community to make these upgrades!
If you want to play an even greater part to help the heart of Brussels English-language theatre, go to to the
