Pregnancy and the postpartum period are among the most transformative stages in life, bringing both joy and challenges. The Birth Bridge is a comprehensive programme designed to support women through these phases by integrating bodywork techniques, yoga, craniosacral therapy, and many other holistic wellness practices.
Led by Jambo Truong & Charlie Speller, both Forrest Yoga Guardians and bodywork specialists, this programme combines decades of experience in anatomy, biomechanics, energetics and holistic health to provide tools that nurture physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being during pregnancy and beyond.
About Jambo & Charlie
Charlie Speller is a Forrest Yoga Guardian and integrative bodywork practitioner. Her focus lies in supporting clients’ health through movement and hands-on techniques, with a deep passion for women’s health and pre and postnatal care.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
Each day of The Birth Bridge is designed to support participants physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Daily elements include:
• Ceremony and Yoga: Morning ceremonies to set intentions, followed by tailored prenatal or postnatal yoga sessions. These sessions combine focused movement, breathing, and mindfulness to address the needs of pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
• Bodywork Techniques: Hands-on workshops to explore specific bodywork modalities, addressing common physical challenges during pregnancy and postpartum.
• Forest Woodland Sound Bath: An interactive sound bath amidst the forest, using instruments like drums, flute, voice, singing bowls, chimes to promote belonging and connection to nature.
• Water Ceremony at a Waterfall: A sacred ritual symbolising renewal and flow, providing an opportunity for participants to reflect, release, and embrace new beginnings.
LOCATION
Taking place in the quaint village of Castelnau-Magnoac, 65230 in the Hautes-Pyrenees, FRANCE, this training is availble as a full residential experience — full board accommodation and food, and childcare (for under 4s). The training venue is a quirky old building, with plenty of space, basic, clean, yet charming rooms. All food will be cooked by our in-house chef who will take care of your dietary requirments.
The nearest airports are Toulouse (85min drive) and Lourdes/Tarbes (60min drive). The nearest train station is Lannemezan (20min drive). It is also possble to hire a car from Toulouse airport and we will look to organise group airport pick-up where possible.

Chapter 1: The Art of Touch
Touch is a powerful way to connect and heal, especially during pregnancy and post birth. This chapter explores the role of touch in releasing oxytocin, the “love hormone,” and its benefits for both mother and baby. It also discusses how touch can be used to promote bonding and relaxation, even when breastfeeding is not possible.
Chapter 2: Dos and Don’ts of Pre/Postnatal Bodywork
This chapter provides essential guidelines for working safely with pre and postnatal clients. It includes areas to avoid, safe zones for massage, and specific acupressure points to use or avoid.
Chapter 3: Foot Reflexology for Soon-to-Be Mums
Foot reflexology is a valuable tool for addressing pregnancy-related symptoms such as swelling, nausea, and fatigue. This chapter introduces key reflex points and provides a step-by-step routine.
Chapter 4: Aromatherapy Oils for Pre/Postnatal Care
Aromatherapy is a gentle and holistic way to support physical and emotional well-being during pregnancy. This chapter explores safe essential oils, blending techniques, and contraindications.
Chapter 5: Focused Bodywork Techniques
This chapter focuses on targeted bodywork techniques to address common areas of tension during pregnancy, including the head, neck, shoulders, jaw, hips, lower back, and pelvis.
Chapter 6: Craniosacral Holds for Pregnant Clients
Craniosacral therapy offers gentle techniques that promote relaxation and support structural alignment during pregnancy. This chapter introduces safe craniosacral holds adapted for pregnant clients.
