The Xperience is an event where different street dance communities come together to share and learn from each other!
The Xperience offers a weekend of workshops and parties to create a link between different cultures and dances from the African diaspora. Together with 8 amazing artists you'll explore the Jazz continuum.
It will include 7 hours of workshops that are open to every dancer who wishes to broaden their horizons! The workshops will feature both specialty classes focused on each dancestyle represented (house, hip hop, jazz and lindy hop) and exploration classes where you will deepen and enrichen your dance following the vision and advice of our masters.
For its sixth edition The Xperience will work in collaboration with Little Big Apple, and we will take you to the vibrant context of an All Style Battle followed by an pure The Xperience party. Either as a participant or as part of the audience, you cannot miss it!!
The Xperience Lisboa edition is co-organized with Little Big Apple, and is part of the Swinging Europe project. This project is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Commission

20:00 - 21:30: TALK - The Xperience is a project that has been going on for more than 4 years. What have we learnt? How has it changed us and our environment? How is it affecting our practice and our mindset? What are our views and hopes for the future?
21h30 - 00:00: WELCOME PARTY with DJ KOUADJO - Join our first gathering with a mix of Swing with a bit of Hip Hop, House and Afro.
13:00: Doors Open at UDance - Our team will be ready to meet you. Come and see us if you don't have your bracelet yet!
13:30 - 16:30: CLASSES at UDance - You will need to choose between our two rooms (hard, huh!?), be there around 10 minutes before the class starts in order to make sure where you have to go! Check the schedule below:
18:00 - 18:45: REGISTER for the All Styles Battle at Noir Désir - Sign your name and start warming up for the Pre-Selections!
19:00 - 21:30: ALL STYLE BATTLE at Noir Desir - Pre-Selections start at 19:00 sharp. We'll find the Top 16 and battle till 21:30 - If you don't want to dance, come hype people up and get inspired by the amazing talents on the floor!

23:00 - 02:00 - DJs Malkom and Kouadjo join a B2B with Eyal Vilner on the saxophone. Come on a musical journey from Jazz to House, thought Soul and Hip Hop. Expect some magic on the dancefloor

13:00: Doors Open at Jazzy Dance Studios - If you have purchased a Sunday pass, this is the moment to get your bracelet!
13:30 - 18:00: CLASSES at Jazzy Dance Studios - This time we will divide the participants in two groups. This will happen right at 13h30 at one of the classrooms. Get there on time so that we can properly make the groups!
18:00 - 19:00: Wrap up and Q&A session - Come share with your artists allyour questions, doubts and hopes concerning the project.
