To restore and transform a classified defensive military fort into a public place opened to all, with a cultural aim and purpose, and sharing its heritage and history with visitors in a sustainable and inclusive way.

The topography of la Citadelle de Marseille, on a rocky spuroverlookingthe Vieux-Port, and its restoration according to the ru/es linked to its classification as
a Heritage Monument, unfortunately make the site very difficult to access for wheelchairs and baby strollers
(very steep slopes and cobbled pavement.)
